A transcript of conversations with an insider using the name "Ravenmaji" and Dondep

This is the famous chat where 61, or some other 'official' raven who has been tasked with capturing the patriots who have been leaking to Dondep, fakes being the Raven Bennie. After providing the password, supposedly obtained after torturing Bennie, he learns of Dondep's plans and informs him that he "has some bad news." First, he isn't Bennie and second, because Bennie had been captured, there would be no key to the Kitchener storehouse and therefore no need to drive across Canada. Dondep realizes his plans have been compromised, and following this chat goes into semi-seclusion, calling off his plans for "Operation Splash".

 

ravenmaji: Hello?

DONDEP: here
DONDEP: sign?

ravenmaji:

DONDEP: thanks

ravenmaji: What's up?

DONDEP: is that poseur 61 on the thread?

ravenmaji: Where?

DONDEP: the one posing as me
DONDEP: no-one is responding, least of all me

ravenmaji: No I don't think so.

DONDEP: then maybe some fallout from that exchange last night

ravenmaji: fallout from ours?

DONDEP: no, from ours.
DONDEP: an ac was hounding Harry about his John Birch connections
DONDEP: and other things.

ravenmaji: Hadn't read it.

DONDEP: about why he didn't go on the 'coffee run'
DONDEP: just alot of hateful BS is all

ravenmaji: Yea is there any update?

DONDEP: tomorrow is the final interview.
DONDEP: Once past that, our way is clear one way or the other. we just have to keep quiet until then. or relatively so.

DONDEP: at least, they have the file and there is quite a buzz going on now.
DONDEP: nothing in the mail tho

ravenmaji: They have the file on Dan?

DONDEP: yes, carefully selected for major shock value.

ravenmaji: Do you think this could be connected to put forward a news conference?

DONDEP: sometimes, when you bang on the door of the newspaper, or the TV station, they don't hear you. It takes someone from the 'gubmint' to get the reporter to open the back door.

DONDEP: yes, that is what will inevitably happen.

ravenmaji: Hmmmmmm. Didn't consider than angle.

DONDEP: I didn't want to divulge too much, but we're less than 24 hours away
DONDEP: actually, they give themselves 72 hours after the 2nd interview

ravenmaji: From the final decission on immigration?

DONDEP: yes; once that decision is made, the reporters on that beat get the details.
DONDEP: which means they come knocking, and the story is Dan.

ravenmaji: Are you asking for assylum?

DONDEP: yes, because we are now forced to, or we are forced back across the border
–– but the way I have crafted the information, it will lead to an explosive story about the 'imprisonment' and house arrest of America's top microbiologist etc etc

DONDEP: I have the whole scenario planned out, either way. Sometimes, they come to you, kicking and screaming, whereas when I went to them, the trial balloon reporter went dead silent

ravenmaji: Do you think MJ could have told him to go silent?

DONDEP: so, the 150+ media packets I will have ready to go –– yes, they probably did.
DONDEP: it was my 'test

ravenmaji: Remember the Canada connection!

DONDEP: of course!

ravenmaji: I do have some bad news for you.

DONDEP: that is my biggest ace in the hole!
DONDEP: what is it?

ravenmaji: Raven was plucked last night.

DONDEP: which one? are you Bennie?

ravenmaji: The one you are used to speaking with. The one that answers with a - that code that he gave to us when he was "questioned." No my name isn't Bennie! I like numbers, like, o, number 61.

DONDEP: oh, so you are 61.

ravenmaji: Thank God my name isn't Bennie!

DONDEP: so what happened to Bennie?

ravenmaji: I do have some good news for you, it will save you a trip across Canada.

DONDEP: so you killed him too then

ravenmaji: Far from it.
ravenmaji:

DONDEP: so what is it you want?

ravenmaji: Do you remember the coding for S4? the levels?

DONDEP: you have turned him into another Human Subject?
DONDEP: what about the levels? Level 5?

ravenmaji: Chicken parts! Beak here, feathers there, no, 3.

DONDEP: so, how do you do that without killing him?

ravenmaji: Chickie parts!
ravenmaji: I don't know.

DONDEP: it sounds like he is pretty much dead –– What is it you want then?

ravenmaji: To save you a drive! I believe in saving the environment, you don't have to use the gas now!

DONDEP: is that all?

ravenmaji: Not quite!
